French Press Coffee

Recipe

  • Step 1
    Add 16 g of coffee into the French press and place it on a stable surface.
  • Step 2
    Pour a small amount of hot water to fully wet the grounds and allow it to bloom for 30 seconds.
    Blooming helps release trapped gases and improves extraction.
  • Step 3
    Pour the remaining water gently until you reach 240 ml.
  • Step 4
    Stir lightly to ensure all grounds are saturated, then place the lid on without pressing the plunger.
  • Step 5
    Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Press the plunger down slowly and evenly, then pour and serve immediately.
    Serving immediately prevents over-extraction and bitterness.
